FANFICTION.NET NO LET ME READ FANFICS!

I had this dream a few nights ago that I never posted about.

dream )

Sketchsketchsketch

That's all I saved from my Orientation doodles. -sadface- It's Angel Starr again and a little emo Edgeworth in the corner.

Lately I have been doodling/reading/watching obscure animes like crazy. I don't know why, I just want information in my brain right now. I don't care what it is. I stayed up until 5am last night reading random wiki articles. It was definately interesting.

I can tell that I am on the verge of a huge Silent Hill kick... I just read the entirety of Lost Memories and I now want a PSP solely for Origins. Gah, I adore SH so much. <3

Now I also want to see Jacob's Ladder really badly, I don't suppose anyone has a copy of it? Well, if I can find it let's a few of us watch it together.

Hm, I'm planning a series of Ouran fanarts (well I have been for quite a while) and I'm trying decide what I want the theme to be. (Star signs, animals, mythical beasts, zodiac, ect.) Input?
I was also thinking of turning them into greeting cards, not sure why. Just seems like it would work.

Oh yes, and the nose piercing is okayed. Now just to figure out where to get it done.

Right now I'm watching YuGiOh season zero and Detective Conan. Haha, I've already seen both but they are just so much fun.

I'm getting a paid account soon! Whee!
Edit: Got a paid account! Whee! My goal is to draw every single one of my icons! (Probably won't.) Ideas?!

I've been thinking of getting a nose piercing. What do you think about one right there on the right side?

Anyways, this is the only new art that I have actually scanned. Sharpie again.

I fell alseep at 9:00pm last night, but I woke up at 5:00pm today. That's twenty hours.

It's weird, the past few days I haven't slept (literally zero sleep) but I haven't been tired at all.

I guess my body was making up for all the nights I missed.

Hmm.

Agh, my head has been so fuzzy since Otakon.

These commissions are starting to eat up my life, agh.

I'm watching Who Wants to be a Superhero. It's officially the best show that ever existed. Feedback is sooo gay. I love him. Plus Stan Lee = God of all fucking Gods.

Here are a few sharpie arts.

Can you believe they only gave me $5 for those? -wipes brow- They take a lot of work...

Like I said in the last few posts, keep leaving art requests. They may take me forever to finish, but I like doing them when I'm bored. Also, they are kinda a challenge. ^^

Met crazy art kid Harry. (On the intarweb, LOLZ.) He is super cool. (And going to Pratt. -swoon-)

I'm cranky and tired. (And also at Joy's house. Her dad is retarded.)

I miss Jasmine. (Come home soon...)

I am addicted to Addicted to Curry. (It's about a guy.. Who solves his problems with curry...Totally amazing.)

Moonchild the manga is not as fun as I had hoped. (Fucking ballet guy + freaky telekinetic with no memory? Fuck?)

I reread the end of Death Note. (Now I really want to do Harry's idea of a TV screen with a gothic L on it or just a Raito cosplay... I do have a Death Note. -cackle-)

Got artist's table at Otakon. (The fuck. I applied for next year.)

My stomach is hungry.

I drew Joy with InuYasha. (Now she's never allowed to ask me again.)

Still working on everyone's pictures from my last post. (Slowly...)
Speaking of which, here's Kara's picture.

Ergh, I can't draw after a night of no sleep...

P.S. OMG UNFUNF ME N ALL THE OTHER INTARNETS CELEBS HAD A SUPER COOL PARTY IT WAS AWESOME!@!!!!

Still taking artsy farsty requests... I really need more practice.

Comment saying you want a drawing if you.... want a drawing.

Weeee, can't stop thinking about how awesome Otakon is gonna be! I hope Nick doesn't mind like 10 people in his room on Thursday. >_> I really hope Jasmine and/or Fluffy are able to come! It would make everything awesomex2.

I finally got a cosplay.com account. Bleh.

I also decided (well Nick told me to) try to scrape together a cosplay of my Gaia avatar for the Gaia panel and meetup.

That means five cosplays if I get my Rakka one together in time. (Sora, blindfolded Riku, KH2 Yuna, Gaia avatar, Rakka.) How exciting!

I saw POTC2 three times in the past week, go me!

I have a mini art dump, just a few pictures.

click me! )

Right-o! Well, I am feeling sort of inspired right now and I don't want to run into another artist block so I decided to do something fun!

Comment on here and I will draw a picture of what I think you look like by reading your userinfo or if I actually know you I will just draw something in your interests. Please say you want a picture though!

Whee!!

P.S. Treasure Planet, Toy Story, and Pocahontas Sora coming soon!

ATTENTION!

We still need roomates for Otakon. We will be staying at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel Friday and Saturday night. We have a huge room with two queen beds. All of us so far will be cosplaying each day so if you are bothered by lots of hairspray and waking up early to prepare, be warned. Also, we will be there early because I have an artist's table. A spot in our room would be $200 for both days, and I promise to not make you sleep on the floor. ♥

Anyone is welcome, even if I don't know who you are. We just need to get some spots filled.

The reason we are not staying on Thursday is because when we did last year, the line was worse than if we hadn't gone early.

(x-posted)

Side note for journal:

Connecticon was excellent.

P.S.
I have rug burn from being glomped so much. Seriously. ( "OmmgGz Sora so kawaAaiaiiaiIIii!!1" )
If anyone else ever tries to glomp me again, I swear to God I will knife them.

Edit: By the way, my new AIM screen name is "VilliansofaSort"

Ugh, my eyes are killing me. I just spent over $100 on fucking printer ink and have had less than 2 hours of sleep in the past few days. It's way too hot and I am in a bad mood from staring at this freaking computer screen nonstop.

I have been working pretty much without break and I am only about a fourth done with my prints and stickers.. Ugh. Each print takes ten freaking years to touch up since I was an idiot and didn't save any high res versions of them. -eyetwitch- Not to mention that each one takes a goddamn fortnight to print since the printer is crap and it's on the highest setting so it doesn't come out disgusting.

I don't have any new art to post right now because my eyes hurt from light reflecting off of my sketchbook. ...And also I'm too lazy to hook up my scanner. I have to use the USB cable for it to use the printer which for some reason did not come with a cable of its own. Augh, I just feel like complaining right now. I wish someone was awake so I could call them.

Man, I wish I was a vector artist. Everything would look so much prettier. I have no patience for them though.

Urgh, how come I have no artist friends? The only person I can have an enjoyable art talk with is Uminga. It makes me sad inside, when I feel like have a rant about how inefficient rasters are or how Intuos is the shit, there is no one I can talk to.

GAH. GAH. GAH. Connecticon is in one week. I am sooo not prepared. I need to get about 10 print worthy drawings and 20 more stickers done before Thursday and I have horrible artist's block. Fuck! The only thing I've been able to turn out is freakish amounts of Gaia avatar art. ..And that really doesn't help me... (A few of them are under the cut.) Urgh.

Agh, I've been having trouble sticking to one style. I concentrated on the grossly cute chibis for so long that I had to break into some semi realism. And now I'm totally stuck on that... Going back to the chibis so I can get convention crap done has been pretty excruciating. Everything is turning out all forced and gross looking, and since I've been going back to those my semi realism is starting to do the same thing. Aggh! I can't win with this crap! Why can't my brain focus on two styles at once!

I even tried going back to the more shoujo/big gross eyes crap and that was real gross too. Urrgh, I have no idea how I am going to get everthing done in time for the convention. It also doesn't help that everyone is refusing to drive me anywhere to get prints or supplies for the booth... Fucking skanks.

Besides all the stress surrounding the con, everything else has been pretty good. I really like the summer because I really love giant sleepover marathons. We (Joy, Jasmine, Brendan, Jessie, and me) had one going for six nights which involved me busting my ankle, nursing a baby blue jay, wanting to smash Skullmonkeys, living in Joy's house while she wasn't there, and various other fun adventures.

One day when I was at Jessie's house I got a call that Jason was in the hospital because he had been pinned between the house and the car. That scared the crap outta me.. untill my grandma was put on the phone and assured me in her barely understandable Korean accent that everything was just jolly. Phew. Well anyways, it turned out that while Jason was rolling up the windows to my mothers car, it lurched forward (it's a standard) pinning him between the house and the car door. The docter said he was a fucking lucky kid that he managed to get through it without pretty much losing his legs. ...After he got back from the hospital he went to the movies with Dylan. I would say he is just about jolly. I'm kind of glad I wasn't there when it happend, my mom said that the screaming gaver her nightmares. She is still kinda shook up and is taking it all a lot more seriously than Jason. At least he's not dead.

the doodles )

By the way, Nightwatch is fucking amazing. I had to watch it twice just to soak in the awesomeness. I am reeeally excited for Daywatch. And the American release of the books...Gah! They are so kickass!

Erph, me and Jessie went to see Superman Returns (which was awful) and there was a preview for Spiderman 3. SO FUCKING EXCITED! I don't want to wait a whole year!!! Vemon is the fucking most awesome character ever (next to Carnage) and I am sooo excited for his appearence. GAH.

My brain's kind of melting open right now. That's why this is all a big run on sentence instead of comprehensible thoughts.

I promised I would have kh2_diary updated by Connecticon but I don't think I can. Sorry everyone, it's my fault for not realizing how soon the con is. Time just moves too freaking fast.

And gah, I am scary short on funds for my booth. If anyone has any scraps of money, I'd be glad to do commissions for stupid cheap.

How was my 6.6.6. you say? Well, it was pretty freaking amazing! First I had to wake up early and run to the school for some pieces I left there. Of course I ran into Mr. McColl and he was as creepy as ever. I also got to say hi to Victor, Kara, and a few other people I haven't seen in a while though. ♥

Well, after all that jazz I fell asleep for a few hours while listening to FOP and then in was off too my portfolio review. I was pretty freaking nervous because I haven't had my portfolio looked at by college people yet, and I only found out that I was going to at the last minute. Well, my nervousness pretty much dissipated when we were greeted by two adorable dogs at the entrance of Paier. I struggled to figure out what my hobbies and goals were and try to not make them sound geeky on the application form but pretty much failed. (I want to work for Nickelodeon, I like drawing, playing video games and DnD, and being a loser.)

Anyways, the interview went down up in the library by Mr. Daniel Paier himself! I skipped the idle chitchat, got down to business, and whipped out my portfolio. Oh man, I was so shocked at how casual he was first of all, and second how excited he was for me considering going there. Like genuinely excited! He looked through my portfolio and I explained each piece and how I like to limit my mediums to four packs of crayons, bic ballpoint pens, and sharpies because you don't need to be a fancy-pants to make good art. We talked a little about color theory and different art programs and stuff, it was actually really fun. I almost forgot what it was like to talk to another artist on the same level. But anyways, he was really impressed (!) and said I had his blessing and stuff. Yayness! I was so excited about how well everything went, that I completely forgot about the tour we were supposed to take. Oh well.

On the way home we stopped at X-Pect Discounts and I snagged forty sheets of blank labels. Eeee I drew about a million new things all over them but I will scan them later. I also grabbed another 24 pack of Sharpies and waited in the car and drew while my mom went to Home Goods.

Back home I just drew for a few hours while me and Jason waited to go to the 9:50 showing of The Omen. Well.. When we finally got to the theatre it turned out that they were checking IDs in three different places and I am a month too young to see an R rated movie. We decided to just go to Over the Hedge instead and it was actually a lot of fun. I enjoyed it a lot, I'll definately get it when it comes to DVD.

Latest Sketches )

Oh man, I have about a million emails I have been avoiding that I should really answer right now. Commissions and other stuff like that. Arf. I'm so swamped with art stuff and I don't even have half my stuff together for my booth at Connecticon. In other news.. My Sora cosplay is freaking amazing. Yes. I think I'll just buy and Oathkeeper for Otakon, and make a Kingdom Key for Connecticon and maybe save up for an Oblivion.

And hey! There are like 14 people who friended me who I don't even know! Introduce yourselves you stalkers!!! XD

And GAH. Guys, please stop posted the link the my KH Tetris everywhere.. >_< It was more practice with flash scripts than a real thing. Errgh.

Oh yeah, and I am officially addicted to the Realistic Trapped in a Box CYOA on LUElinks.

....

And yes, I am working on KH2 Diary. I just don't want to post it until I think it all looks nice. I've also been messing around with the formating, etc. After the next update I'll wait until after the con to worry about another. Way too much on my plate.

EDIT: BOO FUCKING YA! I just got a Gamefly account!!! -dances-

...I think I have found my medium. Seriously.. And it is Sharpies. Usually when I jump into a new medium, I get excited about it for like a week then just drop it. But this Sharpie thing has lasted over a month and I still love them. <3 It's like a challenge for every drawing to show the colors and textures you want with only a selection of 24 colors.. I like it a lot.

I've also been trying to rangle some commissions using my newfound Sharpie madness, but I've had very little luck. T__T I've made about $50 in the past two days.. But that's not really much in the long run. I keep posting and reposting everywhere I can think of but I've just had a lot of people saying how they want one, but don't have any money. Urgh! $5-15 isn't that much money... TT____TT Well, on a different note, the hats are going AWESOME! we have about 30 or so done so far. 11 Aru hats, 3 Pikachu, 5 Heartless, and the rest are pink kitty hats with all sorts of cute patches.

Eee, if you can think of anyone who might be interested in commissions, please refer them to me! x.x The chibis are $15 and the heads are $5.

I think this is something you Kingdom Hearts fans would be interested in... I have decided to replay the game again.

But wait!

This time I will be recording every ounce of information in a sketch diary. (Well, I will probably summerize a lot.) But basicly, I will be making a diary of Kingdom Hearts II occompanied by many picturesness. Yes, it will take a while. But.. It just struck me to do it and I know it will be extremely fun. ^^ I will be typing up all the character bios, Ansem reports, etc. etc. Everything will be recorded in it... In diary/sketch form.
